Among the specific objectives, the following issues can be highlighted:

   - To improve conservation and management of fragile polar and mountainous ecosystems affected by climate change using natural tracers, such as radio and stable and isotopes.\\
   - To establish sustainable management of soil and water resources at landscape level for improved food production.\\
   - To apply and validate descriptive models on deposit and circulation of stable and radioactive tracers in terrestrial and marine ecosystems.\\
